Improving your leadership can be fun!

Because of Carnival in Cyprus we will link fun and education together and organize a themed TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute) & COT (Club Officers Training) on Saturday 29th of February 2020 in Limassol.

• The theme for the workshops is “Famous Leaders Of The World”.
• Our workshop facilitators will teach us about the tools and tactics famous leaders used throughout history to become successful, create impact and change the world.

• TLI and COT training’s and workshops are perfect for anyone interested in improving their leadership skills (Toastmasters members, officers, and non-Toastmasters like)

Mini YLP (Youth Leadership Program) for your children on 29th February:

This time you can bring your family along! We are offering a mini YLP (Youth Leadership Program) for your children, to help them develop their leadership skills. It will take place on the same day and time as the TLI & COT.

• To help your kids’ jump-start their success, they will learn:

• • The basics of communication &  leadership skills.
  • Presenting their ideas in a concise way.
  • Practice presenting in front of others.

Carnival-Themed Dinner Party on 29th February:

• On the evening of Saturday the 29th we will have a themed 🤩 Carnival Dinner Party.
• You and your friends will have fun “the Toastmasters way”.
• Unlimited food and drinks, music, games and competitions (including fancy dress competition).
• The theme for the carnival dinner party is KINGS & QUEENS.

Social Events on 1st and 2nd of March:

• A series of social events will follow on Sunday and Monday, 1st & 2nd of March.
• These events will help us get to know each other better and bond along with Toastmasters visiting from abroad.
• On the 1st of March, we can watch the world-famous Limassol Carnival Parade (free of charge), attend the Party organized by Limassol Municipality (free of charge)
• On the 2nd of March, we will be doing outdoor activities (subjective to weather) such as light hiking, yoga by the beach, sightseeing (free of charge), cycling or supping       €15/hour), windsurfing (€25/hour).
• Traditional Cypriot lunch underneath the almond trees and games at Finikaria Village (approx €10)

• Full Conference Package (including Carnival Party Dinner) is €75 if you register until 25 February (early-birds) and will be €90 afterwards.
• TLI & COT Conference only (without Carnival Party Dinner): is €50 if you register until 25 February (early-birds) and will be €65 afterwards.
• COT only for officers from Cyprus (separate training on Saturday 29th afternoon, includes a coffee break): €15
• Carnival Party Dinner: €35 (includes unlimited food & drinks)

• The location for the TLI/COT and the carnival-themed dinner party is the lovely Ajax Hotel.
• We have managed to get 10 rooms at a conference price for the 29 February and 1 March for the people who are coming for the TLI & COT. They will be booked at a first come first served basis.
• Classic single room with inland view on BB basis is €95 per night
• Classic double room with inland view on BB basis is €105 per night

How to get to Cyprus:

• There are multiple direct flight connections to both of our International Airports in Larnaca and in Paphos. Make sure to check what’s the best route for you at wizzair.com, easyjet.com, ryanair.com or skyscanner.net.
• Both Larnaca and Paphos are just 50-60km away from Limassol.
• From Larnaca airport to Limassol you have 2 transportation options, taxi or bus. The Limassol Airport Express bus runs 24/7 and costs 9€ per person. Your second option is to take a Larnaca airport taxi (estimated cost is around 50€).
• There are two options to get to Limassol from Paphos Airport, either by taxi or by public bus. The Limassol Airport Express bus is 9€ per person, and runs 24/7. Your second option is to take a Paphos airport taxi (estimated cost is around 45€.)
